[ so, zuko is out here foraging. these giant reptilic creatures are strange, but not all of them are hostile. and he's pretty confident he can fight them (no) if he needs to. ]

[ he's a bit more out ease here. no sickness. easy enough to gather supplies and food! it's almost like being back in the earth kingdom, except he's on the run from huge reptile things and not his sister and the earth kingdom. frankly, this is still preferable to being on the run from azula ]

[ there's one problem, though. a particularly dogged stegosaurus has decided zuko is its mom, and will not stop following him. ]

[ it's currently crying at him for food. ]

I told you-- just eat some grass! Or.. whatever you eat! What do you expect to do?! Chew it for you?

[ more sad stegosaurus noises. it's at this point, the most awkward part of the conversation? that he notices you, and the tips of his ears go red. ]

What are you staring at?!

[ awww look he's a mama bear.... (???) also i'm just warning you in advance that my dinosaur rping will be very bad ]

[ in this sexy (?) au, zuko is definitely a jaded private inspector and has the outfit to match! wow what a handsome boy. ]

[ too bad his personality is terrible and so are all his dialogue choises. his bar, when he looks at you, is like, 5% at the most. ]

[ he folds his arms, giving you an appraising look. ]

[ time for zuko to pick a dialogue option of his own....? ]

Oh. it's you. [ an awkward pause, as he scrubs the back of his head. ] You look.... fine. [ .... ] Let's investigate, I guess.

[ they're never getting out of this car. ]

[ zuko makes a flame in the palm of his hands to guide the way, brazenly walking ahead of whoever he's with -- but it's strange, no matter how much bright he makes the flame burn, it barely illuminates anything. ]

[ he gives a little frustrated click of his tongue as he stares ahead and nothing but darkness (tm) greets him. ]

[ there's something making him uneasy, too. he can't put his finger on it, but he's very obviously tense, even in the dim light his little flame provides. ]

[ without thinking, his hand suddenly flies out, grabbing yours! wow, scandalous. if this impromptu handhold lands -- the car illuminates, and with it, the wide eyes of zuko's current expression. ]

What?

[ if it doesn't land, he just snatches his hand back, defensively. even in the dim lighting, it's easy to tell he's embarrassed. ]

[ zuko takes his shirt off. suddenly, a bunch of flying sharks soar by at exactly the same time, majestically!! this would be accompanied by dramatic music, but this is the wrong car for that. ]
