But he'll go ahead and sweep Athy up with both hands; she's so little and light, easy to scoop up and drop atop a noble steed. But he takes a moment to spin with her; it's something their father would do, like he'd effortlessly toss them up above his head, for just a second, free of gravity, before safely collecting them again, all laughs and giggles.
The memory clings especially tight to him today. The joy in tiny, passing moments like that is something he'll never take for granted. ]
