[ Claude jumps a little when the dialogue options just pop up out of thin air. He reaches out to them, but his hands pass right through... Not entirely corporeal. ]
This is pretty weird.
[ Also, none of these words make any sense to him. What is a "roller coaster" or a "ferris wheel"? He is a little hungry, but he's not particularly in the mood for cake.
So he just ventures a guess: ] How about that roller coaster over there?
[ At which, the progress bar over Cal's head lights up. What is the verdict... ]
[ Cal's easygoing enough that pretty much any answer would've worked, honestly, but the rollercoaster happened to be the best choice. Congrats, Claude! His trust meter goes up quite a bit! ]
Yeah, okay. [ He's just acting cool. He actually looks pretty excited to try it, his eye all lit up as he leads the way to the line, because he's kind of an adrenaline junkie. ]
You like that kind of thing?
[ From his shoulder, BD-1 lets out an inquisitive hoot. Someone else is also an adrenaline junkie... ]
[ Claude is staring at BD-1 very seriously, trying to figure out how the droid isn't going to just... fly off the ride... It doesn't seem like he meets the height restrictions? ]
I've never seen anything like it, to be honest. Might as well get as many new experiences while I'm here, right?
[ There's a line when they approach the rollercoaster, but it magically disappears after 10 seconds of waiting, and suddenly it's their turn!
The rows are of three seats each, and Claude gets on first, taking the furthest seat. As soon as he does, an action choice appears:
> Sit next to Claude. > Put BD-1 next to Claude. ]
[ idk dude he's just going to hold on really tightly. this droid got a hit in on darth vader and walked away, he's a real g ]
Right. I forgot you were from...
[ Da Past. Of course Claude hasn't ridden a roller coaster before.
Then the choice catches him off guard, making him stop short. This doesn't seem like an important decision? He takes maybe a second to decide before going with > Put BD-1 next to Claude. Which he accomplishes by extending his arm and letting BD-1 hop down onto the seat between them, before taking a seat himself and strapping in.
Then he looks over at Claude and grins. Oh god he really is enjoying this, congrats claude. ] Ready?
