(final_FINAL) Priority Log - Part 2
Log 8 Priority (Part II)
While the conductors may have peaced out, the train is still running smoothly — so clearly, hope is not lost! Surviving the rogue doors will leave everyone with one last message, with no sender:
ERROR: Car #92834029 malfunction
ERROR: Fatal system abnormality
> Restoring car from last saved draft...
Have a pleasant journey, wherever you may go.
The End
As characters enter the car, their phones will notify them of a new objective…

Immediately after, the space around them will start to break down, fuzzy and glitching, before the misbehaving doors begin to blip out of existence, one by one.
And as the car empties out, so it begins to fill again: for nearly every passenger, an exit door will appear. No tricks or traps this time — passengers' numbers will start to rapidly tick up and down, flickering in their glow. Some of them will reach 0, and some start so high that they will not.
Regardless, characters are presented with a final choice.
It's possible (AKA player choice) that passengers with higher numbers will not have a door appear. Ultimately, they can stay on the train and continue the rehab process.
Option 2: Leave through your own door
Whether it's because of a significant number drop, numbers reaching zero, or a glitch in the system, a door will appear just for you! Passengers can look through the doorway and see home on the other side, safe and sound and waiting for them to return.
Option 3: Leave through someone else's door
Whether a passenger's exit door appears or not, there's nothing stopping them from going on a different path. Characters are free to leave with each other if they should like.
On that note...
One Last Catch
As a result of the clownductors' "we're all in this together" attitude, passengers will find unbreakable strings appearing at random and tying them to one another. Lucky passengers will find the string winding around their wrists, but sometimes it will wind around their ankles instead. Or necks. Or really anything it can loop around, regardless of the inconvenience it causes.
These strings cannot be broken, destroyed or escaped from in any way. The strings appear to be rather whimsical however, and will disappear on their own eventually, if you want to wait that long.

Really, The End
And really, there's no catch after that! It's time to go home. Or not, the choice is yours.
As far as the comms go, you're welcome to thread for however long you please, or use them as a musebox, etc! It's wild to us that we've already sped through six months; we went into the game hoping to have a stress-free outlet to hang out with friends and RP along the way. Hopefully we've succeeded!
